Quilt Square #28
This year (2023), there has been way more rainfall than we’ve had for a while, causing the flowers to bloom bigger and healthier than before. I know that short term it’s beautiful; but long term, I know it’s bad. California has been in a drought for a while. As a result, the heavy amounts of rain we’ve gotten this year have flooded California. Along with the flooding, the powerful winds have knocked our trees down. It has also caused our flowers to bloom bigger and more vibrant than the past few years, which I think is beautiful (even if they cause allergies).
These quilt works come from teacher Conor Carroll‘s 2023 chemistry classes at Skyline High School.
