He covers housing, local government, migration, climate, conflict, and transitional justice in Colombia and the United States. His work has taken him from rural Colombia to city council chambers in California, where he focuses on how policy decisions shape people’s lives. He is a UC Berkeley California Local News 2024 fellow based in the Bay Area.
