is based in Southern California. She holds a bachelor's in English Literature and Spanish from UCLA and a master’s in both business and Spanish-language journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism in New York. She has covered the eastern Coachella Valley, including the cities of Indio and Coachella, at The Desert Sun for almost three years. Her work has also appeared in NBC Chicago, American Banker, Bloomberg and USA Today, among other outlets.
